12 Jan Media Release: Key Strategic Appointment
Intuit Technologies is delighted to announce the appointment of Bianca Pickett to the newly created role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This key role will help shape the next phase of growth and continue to deliver on our customer-centric, agile managed services focus. Bianca is based in Melbourne and commenced with the business on Monday the 11th of January 2021.
As CTO, Bianca is responsible for all Services and Engineering capability within the company across all geographic locations. She will also represent Intuit Technologies within the national ICT marketplace as a respected industry thought leader. The importance of this role was reflected by the involvement of both a key customer and key vendor partner in the final round of the selection process, and Intuit Technologies would like to thank them publicly for the commitment of their time to ensuring a successful selection.
“The creation of this new role is a significant and strategic step in the growth of Intuit Technologies across Australia. Our vision is one of deep specialisation coupled with intense customer focus. It was vital that we found an individual with the ability to operate strategically as well as function in a hands-on capacity to implement and deliver change.” said Dane Bignell, Managing Director and Founder of Intuit Technologies.
“We are delighted to have Bianca on the team in such a pivotal role and look forward to introducing her to our key customers and partners. In addition to having significant experience throughout our key markets and expertise relating to our service offerings, she also has a strong connection to our Tasmanian heritage as a native Tasmanian.”
Bianca has significant depth and experience in technology, business strategy, human resources, finance, leadership, and business growth. Her versatility has been applied across a variety of organisation types including IT, Professional Services and Finance. These organisations have ranged from start-ups through to multinationals. Bianca has been instrumental in growing businesses and setting them up for successful sale or acquisition.
“I am excited about joining Intuit Technologies at this pivotal time in their journey. The strong emphasis on customer service and the desire to continue to deliver the right solutions, perfectly align with what I was looking for in my next career challenge,” said Bianca. “Initially, my focus will be on connecting with my team, our fantastic customers and our strategic partners. I am looking forward to helping make Intuit Technologies a continuing and enormous success.”
Intuit Technologies has a combined workforce of around 150 staff, spread across five major office locations in Hobart, Launceston, Burnie, Melbourne and Brisbane. We expect to continue to drive growth and expansion across the East Coast in 2021 and to continue to see an uplift in service offerings and capabilities.
