Social Impact
We don’t overstate it. We just show up and do what’s right.
At Intuit Technologies, social impact doesn’t sit on a separate page of the business. It shows up in how our people contribute, the causes we support, and the structure we’re building to make sure it’s done properly.
Like everything we do, it’s considered, practical, and focused on outcomes - not headlines. From volunteering and matched giving to local partnerships, our people are supported to make a difference in ways that matter.

Charity & Sponsorship
Structured support. Genuine contribution. Aligned to who we are.
At Intuit Technologies, social impact isn’t a campaign or a box to tick. We get involved where it makes sense and where we know we can do some good. Whether that’s through long-term partnerships, industry engagement, or backing our people in the things they care about, we focus on action that reflects who we are.
Our Charity Focus
Cancer Council – Daffodil Day Partner
We’re proud to support the Cancer Council as our nominated charity partner. That includes national fundraising, donation matching, and leadership involvement through a non-executive director role on the Cancer Council Tasmania board. It’s a long-standing relationship that means something to our team, and one we’re proud to continue.
Sector Sponsorships & Industry Participation
Backing the organisations that help shape the sector

Corporate Support & People-Led Impact
Some things are supported by the business. Others, we just support our people to do.
Staff-Led Participation
Our people give back in their own time and in their own way. That includes:
- Ronald McDonald House – volunteering to support families with children in hospital
- CEO Sleepouts – raising awareness and funds for homelessness services
- The Bloody Long Walk – 35km charity challenge supporting mitochondrial disease
- Stair Climb for Charity – endurance fundraising for health and emergency causes
- Local community giving – from volunteering at food truck events and carols, to donating and packing hampers through programs like Graze in The Gap, Carols in The Gap and Hampers of Hope
- Not-for-profit leadership – with team members involved in running multicultural community programs and supporting local impact from the inside out
- Grassroots sport coaching – including parents who commit their time week in, week out to coach and support junior sporting teams in their local communities
Business-Supported Initiatives
- Rotary Charity Sail Day – long-time supporter of this Tasmanian community event
- Southern Ocean Clean-Up – business-backed environmental participation
- Brisbane Basket Brigade – team-led initiative delivering hampers to local families
- Dell Mentor Connect Program – professional development through vendor sponsorship
- Women in ICT (TasTAFE Pathways) – structured mentoring and workplace exposure
These aren’t programs we created. They’re the personal choices our team makes because they care. That says more about our culture than any policy could.
Community Engagement
We work where we live. And we show up where it matters.
At Intuit Technologies, we don’t just serve communities. We’re part of them. Across Tasmania, Victoria and Queensland, we contribute to events, initiatives and partnerships that strengthen the places we live and work.
Community engagement isn’t something we add on. It’s part of how we show up, through consistent participation, local relationships and practical contribution.
Why Community Engagement Matters
We believe technology companies have a role to play beyond business. For us, that means backing our people to get involved, supporting regional programs and saying yes when we know we can make a difference.
It’s not about headlines or handshakes. It’s about being present, consistent and grounded in the relationships we build.
How We Contribute Locally

We contribute to regional events and causes through:
- Rotary Charity Sail Day
- Southern Ocean Clean-Up
- CEO Sleepout
- The Bloody Long Walk
- ICT Industry Trivia Night
- Local carols and packing days
These aren’t corporate sponsorships. They’re the kinds of events our people care about and where we know we can show up properly.

- TasTAFE and the Women in ICT Pathways Program
- University of Tasmania and Queensland University
- Dell MentorConnect

- Hampers of Hope
- The Brisbane Basket Brigade
These are personal commitments, supported by our team culture and recognised across the business.
Where We're Focused
We’re building on what works. That means:
- Deepening local education and youth partnerships
- Expanding regional event participation
- Recognising and supporting staff-led initiatives
- Staying responsive to what matters in each community we’re part of
- We know the value of consistency, and we’re committed to showing up in the right way
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Different perspectives. Shared outcomes. One team.
At Intuit Technologies, we believe strong teams are built through respect, inclusion, and a mix of perspectives. We don’t approach diversity as a campaign or policy. It’s part of how we work, how we hire, and how we support our people.
Technology should work for everyone. That starts with the people behind it.
We support diversity, equity and inclusion not as a statement, but as a responsibility. From the way we build teams to how we support them, we want every person at Intuit Technologies to feel safe, respected and able to contribute in their own way. We know that different backgrounds, ideas and experiences lead to better collaboration, smarter outcomes and stronger client results.
It’s not a program. It’s how we operate.
Inclusion shows up in the way we work, not just what we say. That includes:
- Hiring for capability and culture - not just credentials
- Flexible work options - for parents, carers and life outside of work
- Team support and onboarding - built around mentoring, knowledge-sharing and practical growth
- Aligned partnerships - with AWSN, AISA, TasTAFE, University of Tasmania and Queensland
University to support access, gender equity and career pathways in technology and business We want people to feel comfortable being themselves. Inclusion is part of how we build a better team, not a side initiative.
We know this work keeps evolving. So do we.
We’re continuing to improve by:
- Creating stronger ways to listen, respond and learn
- Supporting career progression for early-career professionals, regional hires and women in tech
- Linking culture, wellbeing and leadership more deliberately
- Making inclusion part of how leaders lead, not just something owned by HR
This is ongoing work. We treat it the same way we treat any core part of the business - with structure, intent and follow-through.
