Sustainability

Operational action. Strategic alignment. A framework in motion.

As a national technology partner working across enterprise, government, and critical industries, we know sustainability is not a marketing tool. It is a business responsibility.

We’ve already taken measurable steps to reduce our environmental impact and embed practical, lower-footprint solutions into the way we deliver. But we also recognise that our internal ESG maturity is still developing. That’s why we’re formalising our approach - applying the same structure and discipline to sustainability that we bring to every client outcome.

Where We Are Now

We’ve made deliberate choices that align to smarter operations and responsible delivery. These include:

Energy Efficiency and Renewable Investment

Our 30kW solar panel system powers the secondary data centre at our Sandy Bay Road office. This reduces our reliance on grid energy and supports our transition toward cleaner operations. Additional investment is under review across our broader office footprint.

Fleet and Travel Optimisation

We operate a lean vehicle fleet and reduce unnecessary travel through remote-first service models built into Managed Services, Advisory, and Project Services. Wherever possible, we prioritise virtual engagement and local resource allocation to minimise emissions without impacting responsiveness or client outcomes.

We are actively reviewing alternative transport options, including existing lease agreements, as part of our broader sustainability roadmap.

Smarter Use of Resources

We minimise paper use across all offices, reuse packaging where practical, and prioritise low-impact, locally sourced materials. Environmental considerations now form part of our procurement review process.

Remote-First Service Delivery

Our service model is built for remote engagement. This includes 24/7 support, strategic workshops, and project delivery - reducing freight, travel, and energy use while improving consistency and uptime. Wherever possible, we actively minimise air travel and prioritise virtual meetings and low-impact transport options.

Sustainability Practice

Environmental Initiatives and Circular Practices

We integrate circular thinking into solution design and service delivery where it makes sense.

This includes lifecycle planning during hardware refresh or disposal, reuse of fit-for-purpose devices, and support for refurbished equipment in internal and community contexts. Our collaboration platforms, from Microsoft Teams to modern workplace solutions reduce the need for physical infrastructure, printed documentation, and interstate travel. Across procurement, we’re beginning to align more closely with suppliers and partners who support circularity, transparency, and lower environmental impact.

Green Technologies

We integrate energy-efficient, low-impact technologies into our solution design and delivery wherever possible.

This includes cloud-first architecture, virtual collaboration platforms, and infrastructure solutions that reduce physical footprint, energy draw, and on-site dependency. Whether it's Dell’s PowerStore, Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, or carbon-conscious peripherals from Logitech, our clients benefit from platforms that support long-term performance and sustainability goals.

Green technology isn’t a future feature, it’s a practical part of how we deliver today.

Sustainable Supply Chain

We understand that sustainability doesn’t stop at operations - it extends into every platform, partner, and product we deliver.

While our formal supply chain assessment framework is still in development, we already consider environmental and ethical impact in our procurement decisions. Our delivery model is supported by vendors who lead in circular economy practices, sustainable logistics, and emissions-conscious infrastructure - helping us reduce embedded waste and lower the impact of end-to-end project delivery.

As our ESG strategy matures, we will continue to strengthen supplier alignment and improve transparency across sourcing, selection, and service outcomes.

Ethical Business Practices and Governance

We are certified to ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management Systems, originally achieved in 2018 and most recently recertified in 2023, and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for Information Security Management Systems, certified in 2023. These certifications apply to all people, locations, and practices across our business.

They represent more than just compliance, they reflect our commitment to quality, consistency, and operational responsibility. From data handling and documentation to client engagement and service delivery, these frameworks ensure we’re accountable in every interaction.

We also consider environmental, social, and ethical impact in our procurement decisions. While early-stage, this approach supports closer alignment with suppliers who share our values around responsible delivery.

Why It Matters

Many of our clients are already held to ESG and compliance standards - through policy, procurement, or public reporting. Working with a technology partner who understands those pressures is no longer optional. It’s expected.

By choosing Intuit Technologies, clients reduce their environmental footprint through smarter solution design, access vendor platforms with built-in ESG performance, and benefit from a provider that embeds responsibility into how services are scoped, delivered, and supported. Whether you're responding to new frameworks or leading internal change, we’re here to align and support, without added complexity.

Partner Alignment

We don’t work in isolation. As a national ICT provider, our impact is shaped by the partnerships we hold and the ecosystems we support. We’re proud to work alongside vendors who lead in sustainability across cloud, infrastructure, and workplace technology.

We're currently aligning our solution design, proposals, and service delivery models to reflect:

What Comes Next

We are currently formalising a full ESG framework to ensure sustainability is embedded across our operations, service design, and delivery models.

This includes:

  • Measurable emissions tracking and reduction goals
  • Sustainability criteria for solution design and procurement
  • Deeper alignment between ESG outcomes and partner capabilities
  • Internal reporting, training, and accountability across the business

We’re committed to closing it - with intent, structure, and action.
